...We cannot fail to mention a last objective and maybe the most important in this war: to impose the supremacy of the dollar in front of the euro which has been recently threatening the dollar in unexpected fronts, putting in danger the privilege of the North American weight in the commercialisation of oil. The dollar was devalued in the last months in relation to the euro by 17%, something unimaginable since the creation of the European common currency. This devaluation was aided by Iraq's decision to pass 10 trillion dollars of their reserves to the European common currency, causing an earthquake in the dollar. This is another of the reasons for the attack to Iraq, intending to install a puppet government that would return the 10 trillion to the area of the dollar. Russia is also operating their oil in Euros and so is Iran. Several countries of the OPEC are analysing whether to also abandon the dollar and move their oil transactions to the euro. Economists estimate that if this happens an unusual devaluation of the dollar will take place, leading to a collapse in the value of North American assets, bringing the giant with clay feet close to an economic collapse similar to the one in the 1930's...."
